World Surf League: Vans US Open of Surfing Round 3, Current Ranking Leader Courtney Conlogue advances to Quarterfinals
On July 27, Women's Samsung Galaxy Championship Tour Round 6, Vans US Open of Surfing Round 3 started at Huntington Beach.
Unfortunately, the competition ran in so small waves two-to-four foot (1 metre).
Lakey Peterson (USA), Courtney Conlogue (USA), Tyler Wright (AUS) and Stephanie Gilmore (AUS) advanced directly to Quarterfinals.
Lakey Peterson and Courtney Conlogue, each surfer earned high scores 8.86 and 8.13 at the day.
Hawaiian surfers struggled to ride on small waves. Reigning World Champion Carissa Moore (HAW) have to fight again in elimination Round 4.- Vans US Open of Surfing Round 3 Results:
