End of the World Teams Up With Steve Aoki for New Song “END OF THE WORLD”
Japanese pop band End of the World, consisting of Shinichi Nakashima, Satoshi Fukase, Saori Ikeda and DJ LOVE, teamed up with American DJ Steve Aoki to release a new song “END OF THE WORLD”.
This marks the first collaboration between Steve Aoki and End of the World.
The song follows up “In My Dream”, which was released in September.
It was written by Nakashima Shinichi, Satoshi Fukase, Digital Farm Animals, Steve Aoki and Neil Ormandy. Produced by End of the World and Steve Aoki.
Satoshi Fukase said of the song, “As our first self-titled work, this song brings back to the time in my life when I had lost everything that it literally felt like it was the end of the world. That's how the band's name came about, to remind all of us that it is always never too late to start anything, even from the very end. Lyric-wise, this song sounds a lot like a normal love song, but I also feel like every word is meant for my old self in the past. Together with his usual raw energy, Steve brought in some warmth and serenity to the song which make this a great anthem for everyone. I'm really excited and I can't wait to share it with you all.”- Steve Aoki said, “I've been a big fan of End of the World's music for a while now, so when opportunity came up to work with them I was honored. It's always fun for me to collaborate with Japanese artists given my heritage, and to bring that to the rest of the world. The song we made is special not only in it's lyrical content, but in it's uplifting melody, and I am so excited for it to be out for everyone to dance and sing along to.”
