Peter Lake Announces New EP “Red”, Shares New Song “Whistle”
New York-based anonymous singer-songwriter Peter Lake announced his upcoming EP “Red” would be released on October 8, 2021.
The EP follows up the debut EP “Yellow”, which garnered over 1 million Spotify streams.
Peter Lake plans to release three EPs “Yellow”, “Red” and “Blue” this year.
The new EP comprises of 3-track. From the EP, he released a new song “Whistle” along with a music video.
Peter Lake recruited Bronx filmmaker Christopher Soto and choreographer Matthew Pasterisa on the video.
Christopher Soto said, “the inspiration behind 'Whistle' was an idea that Peter had in mind. He introduced me to a dope choreographer and he booked a handful of dancers.”
The video was pre-pandemic in Times Square in New York city. Christopher Soto explained, “We wanted 'Whistle' to be slightly different from the other two videos we had done together. So we came up with a dance visual where the choreography could represent some of the lyrics. The different ethnicities of the dancers also represent that anyone in the world can relate to it.”- source : SoundCloud
