Sydney-based Greek-Australian rapper Masked Wolf announced that he will release his debut mixtape “Astronomical” on September 10, 2021.
The mixtape comprises of 17-track, featuring guest appearances from X Ambassadors, NICOLOSI and Kevin Gates.
On September 3, he released a new song “Razor's Edge” featuring Sam Harris of American rock band X Ambassadors.
The song is accompanied by an action-packed music video direccted by Liam Kelly, Nick Kozakis and Jesse Samos Leaman.
Initially, the track is X Ambassadors' song. Both artists created it remotely over Zoom.
Masked Wolf said of the song,“‘Razor’s Edge’ has “such a unique sound – especially the chorus with the pitched up vocals. As soon as I heard it, I told Sam that it was mine and nobody else could have it. From there, the magic happened.”
Sam Harris said, “[We were] working on a completely different song. We finished that one up, and [Masked Wolf] said, ‘What else you got?’ We’d had the original beat [and] hook for ‘Razor’s Edge’ for a couple months, and I was dying to get someone really dope on it, so I played that one for him.
