Peter Wise Drops New Music Video for “Neutral”
Brooklyn based singer-songwriter Peter Wise has dropped a new music video for “Neutral”.
The video was directed by Sophie Wise, who is his sister, and Dan Brink.
Peter Wise shared on social media, “This took an entire team of incredibly talented, hardworking people to pull off, and I’m so grateful for all of them! Thank you to my sister Sophie Wise for coming up with the video concept and direction, these last two videos would not have happened without her. So grateful to finally get to work with Dan Brink and have his amazing cinematography bring this concept to life.”
The song was released back in July. It takes inspiration from the film “The Spectacular Now”.
“There’s a line in the movie where a man tells Miles Teller’s character that he thought a past relationship would yank him out of neutral,” Peter Wise said. “We’ve all had people or experiences in our lives that have this dramatic ability to shift our course for the better, and I wrote this song to focus around that concept.”
He added, “This is a feel-good summer anthem for the person or people in your life who propel you forward and push you to be better. It was written over the span of six years, and after many re-writes and production tweaks I’m very proud of where it arrived, and am happy to give it to you! Thanks to my brother in music Josh Bailey for hopping on drums, and my sister in life Sophie Wise for the album artwork.”- source : YouTube
