Alesso & Marshmello Team Up for New Song “Chasing Stars” featuring James Bay
Swedish DJ Alesso and American DJ Marshmello teamed up to release a new song “Chasing Stars” on August 20, 2021.
Both DJs recruited British singer-songwriter and guitarist James Bay on the track.
This marks the first time three artists have worked together.
The track was written by Alessandro Lindblad, Alexander "Eskeerdo" Izquierdo, James Michael Bay, Jonathan Bellion, Jordan K. Johnson, Marshmello, Michael Pollack and Stefan Johnson. Produced by Alesso, Marshmello and The Monsters & Strangerz.
They have already filmed a music video for the song, which will be premiered on August 21st.
Also, the single cover art features three artists' face illustrations, which were drawn by James Bay in one continuous line.
James Bay shared on social media, “Chasing Stars is OUT NOW! 💫 Alesso and Marshmello came to me with the idea for this song and I had a great time working on it with them and everyone involved.
