Iggy Azalea Releases New Album “The End of an Era”: Streaming
Australian rapper Iggy Azalea released her third studio album “The End of an Era” on August 13, 2021.
It is her first LP in two years. The album comprises of 14-track, featuring guest appearances from Tyga, Ellise, BIA and Sophia Scott.
Iggy Azalea shared on social media, “Today really is the end of an era for me… but also the start of new and exciting things in my life!!! I feel so happy with this project 😊 it really embodies me as an artist perfectly.”
Also this project is her final album. She announced that she will take a hiatus from music after the release of the album.
Iggy Azalea said, “Because it's a retrospect of a decade of making music and my last album. End of an Era is so special to me because after I drop my album iam going to take a few years to focus on other creative projects and things I'm feeling passionate and inspired by, beyond music. I always felt that I had other creative things that I really wanted to get to, and it's hard to get to them when you're a recording artist because so much of recording is going on tour after the fact. And I do love that, but with COVID the last year and a half now, that stopped my touring, which was good for me in a way, because it freed up my time to do other creative projects.”- 5lr-3Z_U30Q
She continued, “It really cemented me in my decision that I think now is a good time for me to say everything that I need to say, and then take my step away and focus on some other creative things."
She added, “So it's more about that but also, I really don't want to tour anymore because I have my son, and I'm so excited I'm going on this big Pitbull tour that starts on the 19th actually, which is my last big hurrah."- source : Apple Music
