MaeThePirate Releases New Song “Broken Glass”
Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Maeve Higgins, aka MaeThePirate released a new song “Broken Glass” on August 11, 2021.
The song follows up “Ring Ring is that Dopamine?”, which was released in July.
It was written and produced by Maeve Higgins.
She wrote this song after having an especially bad breakdown and suffering from self-loathing. Through this experience Mae had to learn to love herself.
MaeThePirate said of the song, “It's hard to make a conscious decision to turn from self-deprecation to self-appreciation. Tell that little voice in your head that's always shutting you down to shut up. Everyone you wish you were, also wishes they were someone else.
