Maisie Peters Releases Two New Songs “You Signed Up For This” & “Brooklyn”
British singer-songwriter Maisie Peters released two new songs “You Signed Up For This” and “Brooklyn” on August 11, 2021.
Both songs are taken from her upcoming long-awaited debut album “You Signed Up for This”, which is set to be released on August 27, 2021 via Ed Sheeran's label, Gingerbread Man.
“You Signed Up For This” is the album title track, and written by Joe Rubel and Maisie Peters.
“Brooklyn” was written by Maisie Peters and Sophie Frances Cooke. Produced by Francis.
Maisie Peters shared on social media along with the video, “here are two videos from last summer when i wrote both the songs in suffolk, when the album had just the faintest footprint of what it would become :') ysuft was the last song we wrote on that trip with joe and i remember i sang that first verse as a joke kind of and then we were like fuck it we'll keep it and i played piano really emotionally at midnight lols. then brooklyn i wrote with frances in this country barn airb&b we turned into a makeshift studio and i used to dance around the rooms and drink bad iced coffees listening to it in my earphones before they were THE earphones . anyway i can't wait for u to hear them they are two of my favourites even tho actually all of the album is my favourite ahhhh !!!”- l3mQtnWOAbo
