Pop Smoke and Dua Lipa Team Up in New Music Video for “Demeanor”
On July 16, 2021, American rapper Pop Smoke's second posthumous studio album “Faith” was released.
Pop Smoke was killed in a home invasion in Los Angeles on February 19, 2020, at age of 20.
The album features guest appearances from Kanye West, Pusha T, Rick Ross, The-Dream, 42 Dugg, 21 Savage, Takeoff, Lil Tjay, Swae Lee, Future, Chris Brown, Dua Lipa, Pharrell, Kid Cudi, Quavo and Kodak Black, among others.
From the album, a new music video for “Demeanor” was dropped on July 30, featuring British singer-songwriter Dua Lipa.
The track was written by Sarah Hudson, Clarence Coffee Jr., Michael Gomes, Mantra, Dru DeCaro, Daniel mizrahi, Dua Lipa, Pop Smoke and Rico Beats. The video was directed by Nabil.
“I’m so proud to be on this amazing song and to celebrate Pop as such a great artist,” Dua Lipa said. “I was really touched when Steven Victor from his label showed me the video of Pop dancing to ‘One Kiss’ and told me how much Pop liked my music. Hope everyone enjoys the video, it was great working with Nabil again and it’s one of my favorite videos.”
