We Three Teams Up With “To Write Love On Her Arms” To Release New Music Video for “Sara”
American alt-pop trio We Three, consisting of three siblings, Bethany, Joshua, and Manny Humlie, teamed up with the non-profit mental health organization, To Write Love On Her Arms, to release a new music video for “Sara”.
All proceeds made from the music video will be donated to To Write Love On Her Arms.
A message is shown at the ending of the video, “This video is dedicated to those who have been lost to suicide. If you or someone you know is struggling with thoughts of suicide please contact the resources below. You deserve to heard and understood for exactly where you are. And know each painful moment is just a moment. It's fleeting, it's going to pass, it's going to go.”
Manny Humlie said, “It was a difficult song to write. I had the first and second verse which I played to the guys. It was very intense and I knew how it should end but it wasn't an easy writing path to get there. The message behind the song and the video is that we should be aware of ALL the Sara's around us. Taking life for granted can mean missing the pain others are going through, so this is a song that despite it's lyrical pain is actually a shout out for awareness”
The song is included on their debut EP “We're All Messed up - but It's Ok”, which was released in 2019.
