Thomas Rhett Releases New Song “Things Dads Do”
American country music singer-songwriter Thomas Rhett released a new song “Things Dads Do” on Father's Day.
He wrote the song with his father Rhett Akins, along with Matt Dragstrem, and Chase McGill.
It is the first single since his fifth studio album “Country Again: Side A”, which was released back in April.
Also, the track will appear on upcoming album “Country Again: Side B”.
“This is probably my favorite song I've gotten to write with my dad,” Thomas Rhett said in a statement.” I've learned so many life lessons from him, and it's pretty wild to see so much of him in myself now that I'm a dad. It felt like we should go ahead to release it for all of y'all who have been asking since we wrote it and to celebrate all the dads out there!”
He shared on social media, “We all have those moments as adults when we recognize ourselves doing things that our parents did our entire lives and finally start to understand. This one is for the dads and is out now.”- source : Spotify
