American singer-songwriter Willow Smith, aka WILLOW appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to perform her latest song “t r a n s p a r e n t s o u l”.
She played the song with Travis Barker of blink-182.
The song was released last month from her upcoming fourth studio album.
The track was written by Willow Smith, Travis Barker and Tyler Cole.
In the interview, Jimmy Fallon asked her who inspired her to learn the guitar.
"I honestly think it was a brewing in me for a while that I knew I needed to play an instrument to really call myself and a musician, and really wanted to do that," she explained. "It was around the time that I found out that Michael Cera had made music. I think that was the breaking point.”
The new album is set to be released this summer. She said, “And we’re going to see a lot of collaborations on this album.”- VUEseo5mGnY
