The Veronicas Releases New Song “The Life of the Party” featuring Allday
Australian pop duo The Veronicas collaborated with Australian rapper Allday again, following the 2019 song “Restless” which appeared on Allday's third studio album “Starry Night Over The Phone”.
Both artists released a new song “The Life of the Party” with an accompanying music video on April 23, 2021.
The track follows up “GODZILLA”, which was released on March 26th. It was written by Isabella Kearney-Nurse, Wrabel, Allday, Jessica Origliasso and Lisa Origliasso. The video was directed by Ribal Hosn.
Back in March, the duo announced their upcoming two albums “GODZILLA” and “HUMAN” will be released on May 28th and July 2nd, respectively. Both albums are their first LPs in seven years.
“GODZILLA” comprises of 12-track, including preceding singles "In My Blood", "The Only High" and “GODZILLA”. The new song will appear on the album “HUMAN”.- The duo will embark on their first nationwide tour called “Godzilla V Human Tour” in six years to support of the twin albums. Thou tour kicks off at Fortitude Music Hall, Brisbane on June 4th and will conclude at Canberra Theatre, Canberra on June 27th.
“Touring live is the greatest energy hit,” the duo said in a statement. “Transforming from a dance party to emotional sing-a-longs, we've missed it so much. We can't wait to be back on stage with you all again.”
