Regard Teams Up With Troye Sivan & Tate McRae for New Song “You”
Kosovo-Albanian DJ Dardan Aliu, aka Regard teamed up with Australian singer-songwriter Troye Sivan and Canadian singer-songwriter Tate McRae to release a new song “You”.
This marks the first time Regard, Troye Sivan and Tate McRae have worked together.
Troye Sivan teased the song via TikTok earlier this month.
The track was written by Dardan Aliu, SAKIMA, Tom Mann, Koda, Siba, Troye Sivan and Tate McRae. Produced by Dardan Aliu.
Regard said of the song in a statement, “I'm so excited that 'You' is finally being released! The entire song gives me wavy emotions with the angelic vocals from Tate and Troye”.
Tate McRae said, “Collaborating with Troye and Regard was an amazing experience. It's a totally different vibe than any of my usual songs, but still has the emotional and lyrical depth that I always try to write.”
For Regard and Troye Sivan, the song is the first single of 2021. While, Tate McRae released her second EP “Too Young to Be Sad” back in March. Also she was nominated for Juno Award 2021 for Breakthrough Artist of the Year and Fan Choice Award.- source : Spotify
