DIAMANTE Announces New Album “American Dream”, Drops New Music Video for “Ghost Myself”
Los Angeles-based hard rock singer-songwriter Diamante Azzura Bovelli, aka DIAMANTE has dropped a new music video for “Ghost Myself” directed by Nayip Ramos.
Also, she announced her upcoming sophomore album “American Dream” will be released on May 7, 2021.
“Ghost Myself” was released in May 2020. The track is the first single off of the new album.
The video is inspired by David Fincher's 1999 film “Fight Club”. DIAMANTE told Alternative Press, “Cinematically, the video is definitely inspired by the film Fight Club. I knew I wanted the energy of the video to match that same gritty energy of the song.”
The album is her first LP in three years and comprises of 11-track.
“With American Dream, I was given the ultimate artistic freedom to express my most personal moments, stories, confessions, flaws, fears, hopes, mistakes, desires, vices, heartaches, and redemption in a way I have never been able to in the past,” she said. “Every word on this album is my personal diary screaming in your face. This album has no limitations, restrictions, or filter, really. That's why the music video for 'Ghost Myself' had to be equally raw and purposely gritty; it's a song about being at war with myself. I knew there would be no better way to show this internal battle than through an underground fight club scene between me, myself, and I.”- source : YouTube
