Fickle Friends Shares New Song “Not in the Mood”
British alt-pop band Fickle Friends announced their sixth EP “Weird Years: Season 2” will be released on May 7, 2021.
The EP is a sequel to the EP “Weird Years: Season 1”, which was released back in January. The EPs' concept is also set to be extended into a sophomore album “Weird Years”, which is expected to be released later this year.
The track was written by Jack Shepherd, Jack Herrington, Jack Wilson, Natassja Shiner, Sam Morris and Scott Thomas.
Frontwoman Natti Shiner said of the song, “This song is about taking back your power. We all do things that aren’t good for us. We keep people in our lives who make us work for their affection, who make us feel like the ‘back up plan’ just in case what they really want doesn’t work out. In classic Fickle Friends style we have dressed up a sad song in party clothes. We hope you love this as much as we loved writing it.”- source : Spotify
