Evanescence Releases New Album “The Bitter Truth”: Streaming
American rock band Evanescence has released their fifth studio album “The Bitter Truth” via BMG Rights Management.
The album is their first LP in four years. Initially, the album was supposed to be released in late 2020, but was pushed to March 2021 due to the pandemic.
The band recorded a few songs at the traditional studio, such as Rock Falcon Studio, Blackbird and Ocean Way before the pandemic, but the rest of the album, they made under exceptional circumstances with band members being scattered across the US and Europe.
Frontwoman Amy Lee said what the title, “It speaks on one level to the world we live in today, in the belief that we must face reality, no matter how ugly or difficult that is, in order to move forward. But there is also an internal parallel: there can be no healing without first facing the pain.”
Although originally planning to work with several producers across the album, their plans changed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Finally, produced by Nick Raskulinecz, who worked with the band for their self-titled third studio album.
The album comprise of 12-track (Japanese edition 14-track).
The band embarks the Europe tour in support of the album in September and October 2021 alongside Within Temptation.- Pqgfe_kyndI
