WYNNE Releases Two New Songs “Midnight” & “Open Doors”
American singer-songwriter Rory Andrew, aka WYNNE unveiled two new songs “Midnight” and “Open Doors” on March 24, 2021.
The songs will appear on his upcoming debut EP “Both Sides”, which is expected be released in 2021.
Rory Andrew shared on social media, “It's been a while since I've put out my own music. Always overthinking it and wondering whether it's any good. But fuck it.”
Featuring lush cinematic soundscapes under mesmerizingly moody vocals, the songs are a profoundly striking memoir of introspection.
The tracks were inspired by the pandemic. He said, “It's about coming to terms with a sense of loneliness and isolation at a time when we all desperately crave connection.”
Rory Andrew is better known for ODESZA's 2017 single “Line Of Sight”. The song was nominated for Best Dance Recording for the 2018 Grammy Awards.
Also, he is known as a composer, he composed an original piece in Guillermo Del Toro's film “The Shape of Water” in 2017. The film won Best Motion Picture of the Year and Best Original Score at the 2018 Academy Awards.
