Ali Gatie Releases New Song “Can't Let You Go”
Canadian singer-songwriter Ali Gatie will release his sophomore album “The Idea Of Her” on March 26, 2021 via Warner Records. It is his first LP in two years since debut album “You”.
The new album comprises of 10-track, featuring guest appearances from Marshmello, Ty Dolla $ign, Tate McRae and Alec Benjamin.
From the album, he unveiled a new song “Can't Let You Go” along with a music video on March 12th. It was written and produced by Ali Gatie and Sam Wish.
Also, before the release of the new song, Ali Gatie was nominated for the 2021 Juno Awards for Artist of the Year, Album of the Year with “You” and Juno Fan Choice.
The awards will be presented in Toronto, Ontario on May 16, 2021. Ali Gatie said at the Juno nominees press conference, “my biggest inspiration of the past year has been The Weeknd and his musical and branding excellence. Everybody has been super-inspired by what he and his creative team have achieved this year. That has really inspired me, not so much musically as we have a different kind of sound, but to work harder for my fans and produce the best kind of experience I can for them.”- source : Spotify
