Amy Shark Releases New Song “Love Songs Ain't for Us” featuring Keith Urban
Australian pop singer-songwriter Amy Shark's new song arrived. On the track, she collaborated with Australian country music singer-songwriter Keith Urban. The accompanying music video was directed by James Chappell.
“This particular song that he's on, it felt like it needed something, and when someone threw Keith Urban's name in, I was like, 'Oh my god, that's genius, and it's perfect!',” Amy Shark said. “Because he's all class, and the song is quite a classy, timeless song, and it just made sense. Once we sent it to him, he was just so stoked and more than happy to be involved, and just took the song to another level.”
Also she co-wrote the song with British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran.
“Ed asked me if I wrote songs about my man, I told him I do, but love songs aren't really for us,” she recalls. “He then smiled and said, 'OK, that's what we'll do then'. This song is as loved up as you'll get from me and I love it.”
The song will appear on her upcoming sophomore album “Cry Forever”, which is set to be released o April 30, 2021.- source : Rolling Stone
