Charlie Simpson Releases New Song “Blameless”
British singer-songwriter Charlie Simpson unveiled a new song “Blameless” from his upcoming fourth studio album “I See You”.
The accompanying music video was shot and edited solely by Charlie Simpson during lockdown.
Charlie Simpson said of the song, “Blameless is a self-reflection at the end of a relationship. When a relationship ends it's so easy to get caught up with feelings of resentment and you often end up blaming the other person for everything that went wrong. This song is about reflecting on those feelings and realising that sometimes things aren't so black and white, and that events that lead to a break up of a relationship are rarely one sided.”
Charlie Simpson is known as a member of British pop punk band Busted and frontman of British post-hardcore band Fightstar.
The new album is expected to be released in 2021 and the title track “I See You” was released last October.- source : Out Now
