Clean Bandit Teams Up With Iann Dior for New Song “Higher”
British electronic music group Clean Bandit teamed up with American rapper Iann Dior to release a new song “Higher” on January 28, 2021.
The song is the second single off of Clean Bandit's upcoming third studio album, following "Tick Tock" with Mabel and 24kGoldn.
The band the first teased the song on their social last January.
And British pop rock band Bastille's frontman Dan Smith co-wrote the song, where he joined in as backing vocals.
The accompanying music video was produced and directed by Clean Bandit. The video was filmed in Jamacia in late 2020,fearuing a guest appearance from Jamaican reggae artist Shaggy.

“Traveling to Jamaica with Clean Bandit for the making of this track was an experience I’ll never forget," iann dior said of the song. "It was super dope shooting the video and performing at Bob Marley’s old studio too – Marley was such a legend and a constant inspiration in my life.”
"We've fallen in love with Jamaica,” Clean Bandit said. "We spent a lot of time there last year. The people, the food, the culture, and the artistry and creativity especially. We've done a lot of recording and collaborating over there and shooting videos with Iann for our current single was really special.”
The band continued, “We shot a full, kind of, story video at various stunning locations with drones and all sorts (including Shaggy!), but also this much more pure, studio version -- we'd had recording sessions at Tuff Gong and it has an overwhelming sense of history about it so we wanted to film something there too, and it was a wonderful experience.”- source : Spotify
