Kate Hudson Premieres New Song “Music” from Sia's Musical Film “Music” Soundtrack
American actress Kate Hudson unveiled a new song “Music” from Australian singer-songwriter Sia's musical film of the same name, along with a music video.
The song is included on “Music” soundtrack, which is set to be released on February 12, 2021. It was written by Chris Braide and Sia.
The music video uses a shorter version of the song. Directed by Sia.
“It's not a documentary. Kate isn't a drug dealer and Leslie Odom Jr. isn't from Ghana,” Sia said. “There is no way I could have used someone of [Music's] level of functioning to play her.”
“I cast 13 neuroatypical people, three trans folk, and not as f**king prostitutes or drug addicts but as doctors, nurses and singers,' she said. “F***ing sad nobody's even seen the dang movie. My heart has always been in the right place,' wrote Sia on the social media platform.”
The film “Music” was directed by Sia and co-written by children's book author Dallas Clayton. It stars Kate Hudson, Maddie Ziegler, Beto Calvillo, Mary Kay Place, Steve Brown and Leslie Odom Jr.
This marks Sia's directorial debut. The film was released in Australia on January 14, 2021. It will be released in select IMAX theatres in the United States for one night on February 10th.- uRdZQsWO3II
