The original of version of “Heroes” was released by David Bowie in 1977 from his 12th studio album of the same name. He co-wrote the song with Brian Eno and recorded at Hansa Studio by the Wall. The track is based on R&B. A product of his "Berlin" period, it has since become one of his signature songs.
