will.i.am Releases New Song “AMERICAN DREAM” to Raise Funds for Children's Education
American hip-hop trio Black Eyed Peas' will.i.am has released a new song “AMERICAN DREAM” to raise funds for children who cannot afford proper education.
will.i.am and his I.am Angel Foundation teamed up with Mobile game publisher Zynga to help raise $5 million in donations for educational purposes.
I.am Angel Foundation said, “2020 showed the world how dire things really are when these basic things are taken away. Some of the best and brightest young minds are being set back by a double whammy – long-standing systemic issues, multiplied by a pandemic that disproportionately hurts communities of color.”
“Turn around the nightmare of poverty and prison into the American Dream," said will.i.am. "We can do it with fair access to quality public education, including STEAM skills that will give every student a career path and the opportunity to achieve true economic equality.”- kH9QFE-N83Y

"We are honoured to join the i.am Angel Foundation in their commitment to create opportunity and equity through education that incorporates STEAM skills," said Zynga deputy general counsel Krystal Bowen.
“Through their efforts over the last 10 years, the i.am Angel Foundation has brought true impact to the lives of thousands of students. “Now more than ever, companies need to provide the next generation with resources to succeed in a 21st-century economy. We are proud to join forces with an organisation that is truly making a difference in the community and in the lives of our youth.”
Additional donation partners include contributions from Apple, Angela Ahrendts, Tim and Nancy Armstrong's Armstrong Angel Fund, Marc Benioff, Solina Chau, Coca-Cola, Ron Conway, Tim Draper, Lady Gaga, Laurene Powell Jobs, Dean Kamen, Andrew Liveris, Yuri Milner, Paramount Pictures, Mark Pincus, Haim Saban, and Oprah Winfrey.
