Charlotte Lawrence Releases New Song “Talk You Down”
Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Charlotte Lawrence released a new song “Talk You Down” on January 8, 2021.
The track will appear on her upcoming self-titled second EP. It was written by American singer-songwriter Julia Michaels.
Charlotte Lawrence told NOTION last November about the song, “about anxiety, mental breakdowns, depression and feeling a flurry of crazy emotions and not really knowing how to deal with it properly”.
“You can listen to it and feel like it's more about a relationship—that I'm telling my partner that I'm here for them to talk them down and make them feel okay, you don't need to be sad”, she explained. “or you could also hear it like I'm talking to myself. I'm like, okay, I'm panicking. I'm freaking out. I'm having a panic attack. It's okay, calm down, it's alright, everything's gonna be fine”.
The new EP is expected to be released this month. She said, “90% of it is about a relationship, some fun songs… some slow songs”.- source : Spotify
