Amanda Shires Covers Genesis' “That's All”
American singer-songwriter and fiddle player Amanda Shires has released a cover of Genesis' “That's All”.
The accompanying animated lyric video features a number of topics that defined the 2020, including a COVID-19 molecule, Tiger King, a mural of musicians who died in 2020, including Little Richard, Eddie Van Halen, John Prine, and more, and an actual dumpster fire.
Amanda Shires said of the song, “'That's All' is a song that I have played a lot on tour. The song defines 2020 for me, a true Covid anthem. I dare you to not dance to my version when you hear it.”
She recorded the song at Moon Palace in Nashville. Produced by Amanda Shires & Pete Levin. Lyric video was animated by Deren Ney.
The original version of the song was released by British rock band Genesis in 1983 from their self-titled album. It was written by Phil Collins, Tony Banks and Mike Rutherford.- source : Rolling Stone
