Jennifer Lopez Performs at New Year's Rockin' Eve
American singer-songwriter Jennifer Lopez appeared on the 49th annual Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve in New York's Times Square to perform “In The Morning”, “Waiting for Tonight”, “Dream On” and “Dance Again”.
“2020 is almost over. We made it. We made it,” Jennifer Lopez said on the stage. “being on one of the biggest performances of my life with thousands of people. But tonight we're doing things a little differently. That's OK. This year teaches us... If this year taught us anything, it taught us to be grateful for what we do have — to cherish every moment. We lost too many. Too many. So tonight we’re going to live, we’re going to love and we’re going to dance again. And we’re going to keep on dreaming. Twenty years ago, I sang this song, and we never needed it more than tonight.”
“In The Morning” is her latest song released on November 27, 2020. This marks the first time she have played the song at the live show.
“Waiting for Tonight” was released in 1999 from her debut studio album “On the 6”. It was originally recorded by Christensen's girl group 3rd Party for their debut studio album “Alive” in 1997.
“Dance Again” was released in 2012, featuring American rapper Pitbull. “Dream On” was released by American rock band Aerosmith from their self-titled debut album in 1973.
