Bleachers Performs at The Roof of Electric Lady Studios, featuring Bruce Springsteen
Earlier December 2020, American singer-songwriter and record producer Jack Antonoff's band Bleachers released the live videos for “chinatown” and “45”.
Following two videos, the band dropped one more live video for “The Whole Of The Moon” on December 31, 2020.
The band performed the songs at the roof of Electric Lady Studios in New York City. American singer-songwriter Bruce Springsteen joined in “chinatown”. The video was directed by Nicholas Robespierre.
“I go to Electric Lady every day to work,” Jack Antonoff said in a press statement. “I sit on the roof for hours and hours. Probably spent more time on that roof this year than my bed. Kept imagining the band up there on all the different levels playing on 8th street with everything patched into the console of studio D. Was the first time we played these songs and the first time we played together since the pandemic. Was like a dream.”
“chinatown” and “45” were released on November 16, 2020 as the dual lead singles from Bleachers' upcoming third studio album, which is set to be released in 2021.
“The Whole Of The Moon” was released by British-Irish folk rock band The Waterboys in 1985 from their album “This Is the Sea”.-
