Coldplay Premieres New Song “Flags”
British rock band Coldplay premiered a new song “Flags” on December 21, 2020.
The song is taken from their eighth studio album “Everyday Life” Japanese edition, which was released in 2019.
The track was written by Chris Martin, Will Champion, Jonny Buckland and Guy Berryman.
Coldplay shared on social media, “We love this song but by the time it came along the spaces on Everyday Life had been filled and we had to socially distance it. Thankyou for all the ways you’ve supported us this year. We love & appreciate you more than you could know. Love c, g, w, j & p”
The album “Everyday Life” is a double album, consisting of Sunrise and Sunset, featuring 16-track. The album reached No. 1 on the UK Albums chart and No. 7 on the US Billboard 200.
Also the album was nominated for 2020 Grammy Awards for Album of the Year. The ceremony will be held on January 31, 2021 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.- source : Spotify
