Arlo Parks Drops New Music Video for “Caroline”
Last month, London-based singer-songwriter Arlo Parks released the fifth single off of her upcoming debut album “Collapsed in Sunbeams”, following “Hurt”, “Black Dog”, “Eugene” and “Green Eyes”.
The track was written by Arlo Parks and Gianluca Buccellati.
Arlo Parks said of the song in a press release, “Caroline is an exercise in people watching and seeing situations unfold without context. It’s an exploration of how something once full of healthy passion can dissolve in an instant.”
On December 15th, she dropped a new music video for the song, directed by Brock Neal-Roberts.
She said of the video, “Making this video with Brock was such an organic and emotional process. We wanted to make something distinctly human and tender, I'm so proud of this piece and the way it reflects the story behind ‘Caroline.’”
The debut album is set to be released on January 29, 2021. She said, “My album is a series of vignettes and intimate portraits surrounding my adolescence and the people that shaped it. It is rooted in storytelling and nostalgia – I want it to feel both universal and hyper specific.”- source : NME
