David Guetta Teams Up With MORTEN for Cover Of Fleetwood Mac's “Dreams” featuring Lanie Gardner
French DJ David Guetta teamed up with Danish DJ MORTEN again to release a cover of Fleetwood Mac's “Dreams” featuring Nashville-based singer-songwriter Lanie Gardner.
The original version of “Dreams” was released by Fleetwood Mac from the band's eleventh studio album “Rumours” in 1977. The track was written by Stevie Nicks and reached No. 1 on the US Billboard Hot 100.
Back in October, Lanie Gardner posted her cover of “Dreams” to TikTok and her video went viral. Then she signed to Jonas Group Entertainment and Republic Records.
After smash hit her version of the song, she joined in David Guetta and MORTEN's project.
Both DJs worked with together for their EP “New Rave”, which was released in July.
At that time, MORTEN told We Rave You, “We're not making these records for the radio or to make loads of money but really for the dancefloor. To finally experience this new music in a club or at a festival, and see the crowd's reaction will be amazing. I hope we'll be able to celebrate together again soon.”- source : Idolator
