  • Charlie Puth Performs at Xfinity Awesome Gig Powered by Pandora

  • The internet provider Xfinity and music streaming service Pandora teamed up to provide fans with a free American singer-songwriter Charlie Puth virtual concert as Xfinity Awesome Gig Powered by Pandora back in September.

Charlie Puth performed “See You Again”, “Attention”, “Done For Me” and “We Don't Talk Anymore”.
“See You Again” was released by American rapper Wiz Khalifa with Charlie Puth from the action film “Furious 7” soundtrack in 2015. The song reached No. 1 on the US Billboard Hot 100, the UK Singles chart and several other countries including Australia, Austria, Canada, Germany, Ireland, New Zealand and Switzerland.
“Attention” and “Done For Me” are included on his sophomore album “Voicenotes”, which was released in 2018.
Charlie Puth said of “Attention”, “When I came up with the song originally, I was on this hotel bed in this really cool room in the Philippines. I was looking at this Instagram post that somebody had posted. It was this long letter about how he had just broken up with his girlfriend. I don’t know this guy. I have no idea why it popped up on my feed. I just was reading it and I was like, 'Damn. This girl really played him and she just wants attention.' So it was like, 'Why hasn’t anyone made that a song? She just wants attention.'”
  • The original version of “Done For Me” featured R&B singer Kehlani. He said of the song, “I produced this [record] after an unsuccessful party in L.A., which is what all these records are based off… I have my little Juno keyboard… I just hit one of these settings here and played a B minor chord. It just made me think of Wham! It made me think of 1988. I put that chord down and I immediately thought of Kehlani.”
“We Don't Talk Anymore” was released from his debut album “Nine Track Mind” in 2016. The song featured American singer Selena Gomez.
He said, “I wrote [“We Don’t Talk Anymore”] in Japan, I was in my hotel room, at the Mandarin Hotel, looking out at this wonderful city from the top floor, and I called my guitarist who was in the next room and I said, ’Dude, can you come to my room really quickly and play this guitar line?’ I didn’t have a microphone, so I recorded his guitar with my iPhone, and I put it in the mix. Then, we went to the Philippines the next day, and I put the kick drum in.”
