Foo Fighters Performs New Song “Shame Shame” & “Times Like These” on Saturday Night Live
American rock band Foo Fighters appeared on Saturday Night Live to perform their newest song “Shame Shame” and 2003 smash hit song “Times Like These”.
The band has performed “Shame Shame” for the first time on TV. The song is the first single off of their upcoming 10th studio album “Medicine At Midnight”.
The album was recorded in a large, old house from the 1940s in Encino, Los Angeles and comprises of 9-track. Produced by Grammy-winning producer Greg Kurstin.
Originally scheduled for 2020, the album was delayed to February 5, 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Lead vocal Dave Grohl likened the album's sound to David Bowie's “Let's Dance album” and told Los Angeles radio station ALT 98.7, "(The album is) not like a EDM, disco, [or] modern dance record. This really up, fun record. (It is) filled with anthemic, huge, sing-along rock songs."
“Times Like These” was released as the second single from their fourth album “One by One” in 2003. The song reached No. 1 on the UK Rock and Metal chart and No. 12 on the UK Singles chart.
After Saturday Night Live, the band played “Shame Shame” on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.- cEiIN3e_QW0
