John K Releases New Song “Happiness”
Orlando-based singer-songwriter John K has released a new song “Happiness”.
The song is his third single of 2020, following “6 Months” and “if we never met” featuring Kelsea Ballerini.
It was written by Rob Zarrilli, Nick Ruth, John Poulson, Jesse Fink, Ian Gagnon, Donte Blaise and Adam Piccoli.
The song started life two years ago as a songwriting exercise. “'Happiness' was actually an idea we started a couple years ago that we really loved, but it just didn’t seem to align with the direction the project was going at the time,” John K told Celeb Mix about the song. “When COVID hit and quarantine started, we immediately realized how relatable of a concept it was. Talking to happiness like it’s a friend you haven’t seen in a while is something I think a lot of us are feeling right now. The idea behind releasing it was really to normalize that it’s OK not to be OK.”- source : CelebMix
