Carly Rae Jepsen Drops New Song “Me And The Boys In The Band”
Canadian singer-songwriter Carly Rae Jepsen has shared a new song “Me And The Boys In The Band” with accompanying music video directed by Jake Chamseddine.
The track is her first single since her fourth studio album “Dedicated Side” and the companion album “Dedicated Side B”.
She worked with Jack Antonoff for the song. The video was shot at her home and her band members home, featuring Tavish Crowe, Jared Manerika, Adam Sitka and Nik Pesut.
“On the road. That was the life. I miss travel and performing and my band mates who over the years have become my adopted brothers,” Jepsen said in a statement. “Through romantic relationships good and bad I have always found myself again in the late-night conversations with my band. Here's to all the shows we have played and have yet to play. The late-night dancers we turn into on the long bus drives and the tourists we become in the early mornings.
