  • The Japanese House Releases New EP “Chewing Cotton Wool”: Streaming

  • British alt-pop singer-songwriter The Japanese House released a new EP “Chewing Cotton Wool” on August 12, 2020.

The 4-track EP is follows up her debut album “Good At Falling”, and includes “Dionne” featuring Justin Vernon of American indie folk band Bon Iver. Produced by The Japanese House, BJ Burton and George Danie.
Originally, the EP was supposed to be released last November called “Something Has To Change”. But it was delayed and changed th EP title to “Chewing Cotton Wool”.
She premiered “Dionne” along with a music video on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 radio show. “I've met him a couple of times,” The Japanese House tells Zane Lowe on Apple Music. “I was playing piano and he was recording stuff over it. It was quite surreal for me… then I played him the song, which at the time had no chorus and I think he just really loved it. And then when I was back in London, him and [producer BJ Burton] sent something over.”
