Ben Platt Premieres New Song “Everything I Did To Get To You” from Songland
Emmy, Grammy and Tony Award-winning singer-songwriter Ben Platt appeared on Songland on June 8th.
He selected and released winning song “Everything I Did To Get To You” after David Davis’ original performance.
The song was co-written by David Davis and Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic.
When Ben Platt heard the song for the first time, "I feel like, particularly in relationships, I've gotten to a lot of crossroads where things that you've been holding on to that have all this negative connotation, you slowly realize, like, one at a time, like, why they were necessary and why they happened.
