Zeplyn Shares New Song “Brother”
London-based singer-songwriter Zeplyn has shared a new song “Brother” with an accompanying music video.
The track paid tribute to her late brother and produced by Dan Lancaster. The video was directed and edited by Zeplyn herself.
Zeplyn said of the song, “I wrote this after my step brother Harry, who I was very close with, unexpectedly lost his life. It's the hardest song I've ever had to write and I'm hoping it may resonate with people or help people who have experienced loss. This one is for you Harry, for my family, and for anyone who is grieving a lost one.”
Zeplyn debuted with her first single “Folded” last July. Followed by, she released the second single “The Only One”, which was supported from BBC Introducing, as well as Spotify.
Her music is inspired by BANKS, Hans Zimmer, James Blake, Jeff Buckley, Fleetwood Mac and Charlotte OC. But she has created her own contemporary sound. She said, “I love playing with different sounds, especially cinematic ones, then the next minute I’ll be adding trap high hats or an 808 to a song”- source : LEFUTUREWAVE
