Finn Matthews Releases New Song “Into The Open”, Announces Debut Album “Sunny Daze”
Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Finn Matthews announced his debut album “Sunny Daze” will be released later this year. The album is written and produced by Finn Matthews himself.
From the album, he released a new song “Into The Open” with an accompanying music video on April 17th.
“This song is about finding the best version of yourself through love,” Finn Matthews said of the song. “It’s also about understanding that you can always improve your outlook on life and your situation. I wrote this song during a transformative time where I finally began to accept myself and I want others to be inspired to love themselves and do what they love.”
The music video was directed by Brad Wong. He told American Songwriter about the video, “The vibe I wanted to go for is people overcoming challenges. I just wanted to depict different things–normal things that everyone goes through, that everyone’s going to be able to relate to. I want to inspire everyone to do what they love, and even if there [are] setbacks, just to keep pushing because that’s really the only way that anyone is going to be happy–if they’re doing what they love and what satisfies them.”- source : American Songwriter
