Chloe x Halle Shares New Song “Catch Up” featuring Swae Lee & Mike WiLL Made-it
“Grown-ish” stars and American R&B duo Chloe x Halle teamed up with American rapper Swae Lee and DJ Mike WiLL Made-it to release a new song “Catch Up”.
Last month, the duo teased the song during Instagram Live session. The track was written by Mike WiLL Made-It, Pluss, Adam Waldman, Swae Lee and Chloe x Halle. And the song will appear on their upcoming sophomore album “The Ungodly Hour”.
“[The song] is a tit for tat heartbreak love story,” the duo told Teen Vogue. “It shares both a male and female perspective on when two people are doing each other wrong in a relationship. We were able to deep-dive into feelings of love, anger, and jealousy while creating with Swae Lee.”
The accompanying video was directed by Ignasi Monreal and animated by Bliss.
“We canceled plans for the music video and the cover art shoot and shifted production and creative gears with the reality of this unprecedented pandemic,” said creative director Andrew Makadsi.- source : Rap Up
