Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong Covers “I Think We're Alone Now” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon
American rock band Green Day's guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong has covered the 1967 smash hit “I Think We're Alone Now”.
Also, he appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon At Home Edition to perform the song.
“While we’ve all been in quarantine I’ve been reflecting on the things that matter the most in my life. Family, friends and of course music,” Billie Joe Armstrong wrote. “I figure if we have to spend this time in isolation at least we can be alone together.”
“I Think We're Alone Now” was released by American rock band Tommy James and the Shondells from their third studio album of the same title in 1967.
It was written by Ritchie Cordell. The single reached No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Green Day should be on tour right now, but the tour was on hold due to the COVID-19 crisis.- ZbdA-WFS-Es
