Michael Malarkey Releases New Album “Graveracer”: Streaming
British-American actor Michael Malarkey released his sophomore album “Graveracer” on January 10th for the first time in three years.
Michael Malarkey is best known for playing the role of Enzo in the series “The Vampire Diaries”.
The album comprises of 10-track, recorded at Tesla Studios in Sheffield, UK and produced by Michael and A.A. Williams.
He wrote the songs between Puerto Rico and Vancouver while he was working on both the 50 Cent-produced crime drama The Oath and Project Blue Book in 2018.
But at the time, he had to evacuate with the cast and crew from Puerto Rico due to Hurricane Maria. That experience affected to the artist’s lyrical imagery of the album.
“During the time I was working on the record, I escaped two hurricanes - as well as a third, I suppose, my own personal one. This record is my Odyssey in a way. It’s the journey back home after being ravaged in the seas of your own mind and finding the strength to carry on after the storm. I was left with a feeling of freedom and I found it through these songs,” he stated.
Michael Malarkey has currently toured in support of the album in Europe through to February 8th.
