Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Askjell Premieres New Music Video for “To Be Loved” featuring AURORA, Releases New EP “To Be Loved”: Streaming
Bergen-based producer Askjell Solstrand, aka Askjell teamed up with Norwegian singer-songwriter AURORA for a new song “To Be Loved”.
The song is accompanied by the music video directed by Sophia and Robert.
Askjell said of the video, “the video for "to be loved" is being premiered in 30 minutes. aurora and i are in the chat, come chat with us.”
The original version of the song is instrumental, which was delivered via SoundCloud. AURORA co-wrote the song.
Also the song appeared on his debut EP of the same title, which was released on September 24th.
He wrote about the EP on Facebook, “and just like that - there it is. 25 years of feelings. even though my job is describing emotion in all its shape and forms, it's hard for me to put this into words. the fact that i got to realize this project with some of my best friends, is in some ways even more touching: thank you Daniel, Fredrik, Thomas, Amalie, Olav, Hans, and everyone who's ever made me smile or broken my heart. everyone at Made Management, Lydriket and Ocean Sound Recordings. thanks to all the beautiful people i've been so lucky to meet during the process: Sophia & Robert (and all the incredible crew!!!), Tin and Kit, my team at Island Records and the crew at Daft Studios.”- h2bjTFdezG8
