Sasha Sloan Shares New Song “smiling when i die”
Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Sasha Sloan will embark on the let's get sad tour across the US in November.
Before the tour starting, she released a new song “smiling when i die” on September 20th.
The song is the fourth single of 2019, following "Thoughts", "Dancing with Your Ghost" and "At Least I Look Cool".
She said of the song, “I can’t stop writing songs lately that are about the big picture. I wrote this song called “Smiling When I Die” which is about wanting to be smiling when I die, literally. I wanna do everything and see everything.”
Back in May, she revealed how she created the songs with the inspiration from Pink's concert in an interview with The Line of Best Fit. “I just had a song come out with Pink and I got to see her in concert which was amazing. Literally the best show I’ve ever seen in my life. It’s insane. I was standing in the pit, so she was soaring across my head and hitting every note. I can barely hit every note and I’m just standing there.”
