Charli XCX Teams Up With Haim for New Song “Warm”
English singer-songwriter Charli XCX's fifth single “Warm” was released on August 30th from her upcoming third studio album “Charli”.
she collaborated with American pop rock band Haim on the song.
She said of the song, “It’s about unrequited love I suppose, well kind’ve unrequited. More just like when you’re in it with someone and it’s just like they’re a fucking player and you aren’t in that zone, you know, and you can’t get on the same page.”
The new album features guest appearances from Christine and the Queens, Sky Ferreira, Troye Sivan, Kim Petras, Tommy Cash, Lizzo, Big Freedia, Cupcakke, Brooke Candy, Pabllo Vittar, Clairo, Yaeji and Haim.
She said, “I am working on new music and things are coming this year. I know I’m slow sometimes but I want things perfect. This new era will be all things Charli. Kind of a continuation of pop 2 but also more Charli than ever before. No compromises, my best yet.”
