Peyton List Releases New Song “Don't Cry” featuring Cannon
The former Disney Channel star Peyton List released a new song “Don't Cry” with the accompanying music video.
The video was premiered exclusively on Billboard.
She directed the video by herself and shot it in California's Joshua Tree desert. The song features Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter Cannon.
The track was written by Shep Goodman, Cannon Few, Alexandra Veltri and Aaron Accetta.
"It was my first time taking on the role of creative director for a music video and leading a set to create and follow my own vision," Peyton List told Billboard about clip. "It was nice to tell my own story in a very dramatized, '50s housewife that has gone stir crazy."
She added. "I've never released a music video for my own music, so this being my first one makes it very special to me. I loved getting to come up with the concept and creative direct behind the scenes. Having a visual and telling a dramatized story behind the song was both freeing and fun."
The track follows up her previously released "Dance Till We Die" from the Movie Anthem of a Teenage Prophet.- source : Billboard
