MRG Shares New Song “The Way It Goes” featuring Kevin Cruz
Dominican-American rapper MRG has shared a new song “The Way It Goes”. This time, he worked with DJ Mostwanted and singer-songwriter Kevin Cruz.
He said, “My favorite session of all time…was when DJ Mostwanted and I made [‘The Way It Goes’]. We made the whole track from the lyrics, melodies, and recording in less than 24 hours. It was spontaneous as hell, but it’s now my favorite song by myself to date.”
The track will appear on his upcoming debut album “Live From The Hurst 2”, which is out October.
He explained about the song, “This song is about the personal experience of being a woman’s rebound. She was only looking for some short term fun– probably to get over an ex –but I eventually grew feelings for her. She realized how good of a catch I was after cutting me off, and wanted something more, especially after hearing the music I made. However, I had already moved on – that’s just the way it goes.”- source : Hype Magazine
