Emeli Sandé Unveils New Song “Shine”
British singer and songwriter Emeli Sandé was comeback for the first time in two years and released "Sparrow" from her upcoming third studio album “Real Life” back in March.
Following the song, she contributed “Extraordinary Being” to American superhero film “X-Men: Dark Phoenix”.
On July 12th, she unveiled a new song “Shine” from the album. The accompanying music video for the song was directed by Sarah McColgan and shot in Los Angeles. The clip features Emeli Sandé and her sister Lucy.
The album “Real Life” comprises of 11-track and coproduced by Emeli Sandé and Troy Miller. She said of the album, “With this album, I knew exactly what I wanted to say and do. I just want to give people this incredible superpower every time they play the album. Like a battery pack – by the end of the album they’re going to feel restored.”
The album is set to be released on September 13th.- Emeli Sandé will perform at this year’s Manchester Pride festival on 24 August. She said, “I’m so pleased to be able to play my first ever Pride in the city of Manchester. Being able to support the LGBT+ community at such a prestigious event means a lot to me and it’s an honour to be able to perform with so many other amazing artists on the bill. I really hope Manchester is ready for what we have in store as I couldn’t be more excited.”
